The IWRF has published the schedule for the 2016 Rio Paralympics Wheelchair Rugby competition.
"After consultation with the Olympic Broadcast Service, the schedule was developed to maximize national broadcaster’s interest in televising our sport. This is always against the need to ensure that team’s performance is not adversely affected."

The 12-strong Australian Steelers squad for Rio 2016 was officially announced today by the Australian Paralympic Committee at a ceremony on the Gold Coast, which concluded an intensive three-day training camp.
Disability Sports Australia (DSA), the national body representing athletes with a physical disability, has won an international bidding process to host the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) Wheelchair Rugby World Championship in Sydney in August 2018.
